The Congress of the People and the Social and Economic Justice Music Festival bring together a broad range of activists, organizations and their rank-and-file members in a call to courage in the fight against the three-headed monster of poverty, militarism, and racism. In unity, there is strength.

Proceeds from the music festival help fund the Center for Social and Economic Justice. The Center, a project of the Alliance for Social and Economic Justice, provides workshops using popular education techniques to develop the leadership of low-wage and immigrant workers fighting for justice, equality and sustainability, and teaches them the skills to take collective action for self-determination.
