We are seeking students interested in making profound changes in the lives of working people in San Francisco. The Alliance for Social and Economic Justice is part of a movement redressing issues of social and economic inequalities. Interns are needed in the following areas:

Event Planning

- Planning programs and logistics for educational and fundraising events such as the Social and Economic Justice Music and the Arts Festival and the Social and Economic Justice Film Festival.

Outreach

- Inviting people to events and workshops.

Press and Public Relations

- Manage relations with media outlets and develop social media campaigns.

Research / Writing

- Research background information on economic justice issues and assist in writing outreach materials, publications, newsletters, and website content. Translating skills are needed.

Video Production

- Record and edit footage of events, labor strikes, rallies, demonstrations, or press conferences of workers, community, or labor leaders, for social media, documentaries, and cable access shows.

Web Design and Maintenance

- Gain experience using WordPress to create web pages, post new content, improve UX/UI, and learn Search Engine Optimization. Translating skills are needed.
