Rami Katz

Rami Katz is a filmmaker who lives in Vancouver, BC. He recently completed his MFA in Film Production at the University of British Columbia, where he received the H. Norman Lidster Prize in Documentary Filmmaking. For his thesis film, he directed a documentary called “The Issue of Mr. O’Dell” which explores the life and work of Jack O’Dell, a veteran African-American civil rights activist. Rami was selected to participate in the 2015 RIDM Talent Lab, and his short films have screened at over a dozen film festivals across North America.
