In addition to the various upheavals that occur daily in urban spaces, the film addresses structural issues in the formation of the city of Fortaleza, denouncing a significant part of the origins of the problematic growth process of one of the largest metropolises in Brazil, focusing on people who are born to face the most deadly adversities.

About the director
Gabriel Silveira graduated in History from the Federal University of Ceará. Gabriel also studied at the Scuola Nazionale di Cinema Indipendente in Florence and at ESAP in Porto. He has been a filmmaker since 2007. He has participated in several national and international festivals, including Cine OP, FestCurtasBH and FIDBA. His filmography includes Fortaleza-Caucaia (2008), Some Races in Palermo (2014), Beyond the Journey (2019), From a Schizoid Distance (2021) and The Spiral of Return (2023).
