The Film Festival presents films made by independent filmmakers who are
affirming labor and other human rights and advocating for social and economic justice. The
festival showcases works that challenge exploitative and oppressive social and economic
systems and promote a local, national and global culture of racial and economic equality.

Proceeds from the festival help fund the Center for Social and Economic Justice in the historic
Redstone Labor Temple building, constructed by the San Francisco Labor Council which owned
the building for more than a century. The Center, a project of the Alliance for Social and
Economic Justice, provides workshops using popular education techniques to develop the
leadership of low-wage and immigrant workers fighting for justice, equality and sustainability,
and teaches them the skills to take collective action for self-determination.

We encourage unions, community organizations, foundations and individuals to support the Film Festival as sponsors at the following levels:

$10,000 Recognition of the contribution, along with the logo of your union or organization, will be
displayed in promotional materials, the program, and by special video appearance or tributes
in the event.
$5,000 Name, and the relevant logo of union or organization, displayed in promotional materials and
the program, special mention during the event.
$1,000 Listing in promotional materials and program and special mention during the event.
$500 Listing in the program and special mention during the event.
$250 Listing in the program.

note that the donation is for the film festival. All donations are tax-deductible.
