About the director

Jordana Valerie Allen-Shim is a lesbian, and less importantly, an award-winning Korean and Jewish writer, director, and editor whose work has been featured in over 115 film festivals around the globe.

She was told not to mention She-Ra in her bio unless it related to her own creative practice but, to paraphrase She-Ra, has never listened to anyone in her life, and will not be starting now. Jordana’s greatest hope in life is to make art even gayer than She-Ra, ideally in the form of an anti-capitalist musical featuring her favorite ABBA songs.
